Gaining your Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice will open the doorway to a new and exciting career in the financial industry, but sometimes it can be daunting to start a new job without having any first-hand knowledge of the day-to-day tasks you may face. This is why Simply Academy have developed the Competent Mortgage Adviser Certificate (CMAcert) to help newly qualified mortgage advisers develop experience and skills that will prove invaluable in their day-to-day job role. Accredited by the National Skills Academy, the CMAcert will not only boost your CV and potential employability, but also demonstrates your ongoing professional development to both clients and employers.

The CMAcert is an interactive online course where students will work from an extensive digital workbook offering video, audio, Q & A’s and case studies to work through. Consisting of 5 mandatory units, the Competent Mortgage Adviser Certificate covers areas such as finding new clients and designing mortgage and protection recommendation packages, all the way through to the sign up stage, including application procedures. Each unit includes a 20 question examination, online digital workbook and case study, giving you an understanding of different situations that you may encounter in your role as a mortgage adviser, while the final unit will be a formal assessment based on the units you have completed.

The CMAcert can be studied at your own pace at a time that suits you, and with our course content fully iPad and tablet compatible, you can take your training materials with you to study on the go. The CMAcert discussion forums not only offer detailed FAQ’s, but also give students the ability to share their thoughts and discuss their experiences throughout their learner journey. As learners work their way through the course, their digital workbook will become a full record of their achievements and can be printed out at the end of the course to provide evidence of the skills and knowledge they have gained.

Once you have completed the full CMAcert course, you will be awarded full certification. This means not only will you be confirming to your clients and potential employers that you have furthered your knowledge and understanding by adding to your CeMAP qualification, but you have also fully prepared yourself to face the real everyday situations of working as a mortgage adviser.

To find out how you can become a competent mortgage adviser with the credentials to prove it, just get in touch with our friendly student support advisers who are on hand to help you throughout your learner journey. We look forward to welcoming you onto your chosen course.

The CMAcert programme has been withdrawn and is not currently open to new enrolments.
