Mortgage Advice Qualifications
What is a CeRER qualification?
12 April 2016
The Certificate in Regulatory Equity Release (CeRER) is the regulatory qualification you will need to be able to advise clients who wish to release capital in their property with an agreement to repay the money in the future while they still reside at the property. The CeRER qualification will equip you with the in-depth knowledge required to provide sound financial advice to your clients, including the legal and regulatory considerations.
The Certificate in Regulatory Equity Release is an additional qualification for advisers who already hold their CeMAP or equivalent; you cannot undertake your equity release training until you are a fully qualified mortgage adviser. The training takes place in a one day course consisting of 2 mandatory units and once you have completed your course you will need to sit a 2 hour multiple choice questions examination. Passing your exam will mean you are fully qualified to provide this additional service to your clients, both broadening your range of services and boosting your CV too.
Simply Academy have 3 training venues around the UK hosting dedicated CeRER courses for students looking to gain this much sort after equity release training. Our London, Birmingham and Manchester venues hold small classes tutored by our experienced and knowledgeable trainers throughout the year, providing outstanding training and materials to help you push your career to the next level.
If you are looking to undertake your equity release training then please do get in touch with our friendly student support officers on 01279 874 430 for more information or to book. We look forward to welcoming you onto your chosen course.Back to News
