At Simply Academy, we’re delighted that apprenticeships are gaining popularity and being recognised for the fantastic training schemes they are. National Apprenticeship Week 2019 is the perfect opportunity to find out more about financial services apprenticeships and discover what an apprentice could offer you as an employer.
What is National Apprenticeship Week 2019?
Every year there is a celebration of apprenticeships which brings people together to recognise the impact of these fantastic training schemes. It’s coordinated by the National Apprenticeship Service and highlights the positive impact on students, employers and the economy. This year we’re looking forward to National Apprenticeship Week 2019, which is running from 4th – 8th March. It promises to be the biggest yet, with a week of events promoting and celebrating apprenticeships.
“Blaze a trail”
The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2019 is ‘blaze a trail’. There will be an emphasis on challenging old fashioned ideas about apprenticeships and helping people understand what a great modern training tool they are. For example, did you know that apprenticeships are open to people over the age of 16, but there is no upper age limit? And did you know that as an employer, you can place existing staff members on a scheme without having to recruit someone new?
